Your contribution makes a big differrence! Thank you
Welcome to the Loreto Secondary School Balbriggan fundraiser lotto.
Loreto Secondary School Balbriggan aims to develop the skills and talents of all our students to enable them to reach their full potential in all aspects of their person. We are committed to holistic excellence.
This commitment often costs more that the grants provided by the Department. This is why we look for monies in donations, in our voluntary contribution scheme and though various fundraising events.
Now, in conjunction with the Parents’ Association and to supplement the funds raised by the voluntary contribution scheme we are starting our very own School Lotto Fundraiser.
We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to our Parents' Association for their outstanding fundraising efforts with the school lotto over the past year. Following the incredible success of our campaign to equip our new school auditorium, ‘Amharclann’, with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, at cost of €16,000 we are excited to embark on our next fundraising initiative: A Memorial Garden.
Groundwork has already begun on this special place, where our school community can come together to remember those we have lost, where students can take time to reflect and to meditate and to take badly needed down time from their busy lives.
To complete this vision, we need your support to fund essential features, including memorial plaques, gentle lighting, hedging, planting, and a comfortable seating area. We are confident that, with their continued support and the generosity of the wider community, this Memorial Garden will become a beautiful and meaningful addition to our school.
By participating in our school Lotto, you’ll not only be helping us create this special tribute but might even enjoy a bit of luck.
We will keep you updated about what we have been able to purchase so you can see the positive benefit of your support.
We hope that the weekly option of 1 line for €2.50 will allow everybody to contribute.
It would be hugely appreciated if you can contribute €5 for 3 lines, and you never know you might just win!
Thank you so much.
Ann Marie McDonough, Principal and the Parents’ Association
