Welcome to the Athboy Community School fundraiser lotto. This is a fundraising initiative, and the money raised will be used to directly support your children's educational experience and general wellbeing here in our school.
As a school we are committed to providing the very best equipment, teaching and learning resources. The commitment to provide the very best for the school costs more than the school grants provided by the department.
All money raised from this fundraising initiative will be spent to update the audio-visual equipment in all classrooms. We will replace the overhead projectors or TV monitors which were installed 12 years ago and are now in need of upgrading. The Department of Education’s IT grant does not cover the cost of replacement of this vital equipment. We will need to raise €70,000 over the next three years to do this work.
This is a huge challenge, and we want to use the school fundraiser lotto to generate some money towards the purchase of these projectors which will benefit every student in the school.
We will keep you updated about what we have been able to purchase so you can see the positive benefit of your support.
We hope that the weekly option of 1 line for €2.50 will allow everybody to contribute.
It would be hugely appreciated if you can contribute €5 for 3 lines, and you never know you might just win!
